The drawing style and overall composition of almost every single picture is perfect... it's just beautiful. btw: there's also a "normal" lovestory in seimaden not only shounen ai

The manga is about all the people in the second page(and one girl who isn't there); but I guess the main character would be the bald guy. It has a bunch of awesome moments, like the "I take those pills a lot" line, or that:

So you have shoujo manga, which tends to look the same. Then you have shounen manga, which tends to feel the same despite looking different? :3

Do you really want me to go into other problems with shoujo manga? There's as much repetitive shoujo as there is repetitive shounen, really

Not that I'm defending shounen manga, I'm more of a seinen guy myself.
I don't really require everybody to be a great artist(for example, Love Roma is a great manga, despite being really fugly), but putting at least a little effort and creativity into your work would be apppreciated. But I'm saying this as a wannabe artist myself, so YMMV.

Edit: I agree with you that a lot of manga stories resemble each othe be it shounen shoujo or seinen...I guess the real task of a fan is to filter out the diamonds among the myriad or sandgrains

And about finding good stuff... What makes it complicated is that most of the fans can't really choose from the entirety of manga. Other then the few who took the effort to learn Japanese, that is. The rest has to rely on the non-japanese publishers and scanlators. And while there are some good things being released, I still keep finding new manga I'd like to read, just to find out no one ever bothered to translate it. And I guess that's one of the reasons I'm learning Japanese now, even though it will be a long before I can read raw manga easily.

damn it looks so awfully familiar...I'm almost sure I've read it, but I'm sometimes horrible when it comes to remembering titles... one Example is Lovesick... I just loved the mature lovestory and all... but I have to look up the title every time I want to recommend it to someone (although it isn't really a hard or long title)... meh I'm afraid I'll have to pass on that one
