I only buy the stuff I've already seen. I never purchase something I haven't seen, that's a risk if you know what I mean.

I do a lot of blind purchasing when it comes to anime and manga. I mean, it's not like bad series outweigh the good (on the shelf). I just do it in the same way when looking for a book. Read the info on the back, look at the art work and title, then decide.

But anyway, on topic:

I wasn't even able to finish 10 episodes of To Love Ru. These days the whole "alien girl falls out of the sky" have to be pretty well done, or else they suffer the fate of being just another alien/magical girl anime. After all, it has been done to death. That doesn't stop me, but it was as if the series seriously wanted me to stop watching. It was action packed...but so boring at the same time. Like watching fluro-green paint dry, but with a borderline furry walking all over it as it does.

Repeated scenes in this anime is extremely ridiculous, I mean they've reused so many scenes, there was at least 8 episodes that should never existed. They had no plot, no story, retarded fanservice (very bad ones). This should have been a 13 episode TV series. Maybe they learned their lesson and switched to the OVAs. I heard they're pretty good. Oh, I was talking about To Love Ru.

In a way it's extremely similar to hentai, if you think about it. From what I remember, she arrives at his, he protects her, then she comes to his school and, well...it gets pretty damn basic.

The next ruler of an alien planet? That intrigued me. A bazillion school-based episodes where she acts like a slut, yet is devoted to him in between? No thanks.

No, as far as I remember it doesn't - it's not even ecchi, but that adds to the value of the series - since it's a really messed up slice of life.

If I remember correctly, back then the threads were really dying out and I was watching anime at a very high rate speed, finishing series after series and I was posting new threads very quickly so I felt shy >_>;; So I kinda merged two animes at once. I stopped doing that tho'.

The series is heavily censored. There is a lot of things that were edited (A LOT). Basically, any "erotic" moment you notice is censored. Man, I have so many favorites. One of my favorites is when that chick with the long black hair gets tied up with the rope, in the DVD version ... I almost had a nose bleed, her ... her, HER BODY WIGGLING >_<

Of all the girls in this anime Lala showed a lot of feelings for Rito, more than all the other girls alltogether, the pest proof was when he reached the finishing line and she just cried out on him and didn't want to let him go away even an inch

1.he played that melody, and fortunately Nanaka heard him talking about it with Hoshino and she finaly understood her own mistake, he didn't forget about her, he just didn't recognise her, well she does look a bit different.

2.He gave the pretty stone to Nanaka, finaly a solo present for her only, the broken mirror doesn't count since he bought the same one to Hoshino, that was a bad move tbh.

3. He helped out that little girl to confess, l dunno how to feel about the stuffed toy tough, it was that lil girls favorite style, but Nanaka seemd very intrested about it, it made her angry a bit

4.He complimented her dance ratehr nicely, l think she was really happy about his opinion, it showed on her face and that was a really good thing he did.

l'll go on watching the rest of the season but thats my opinion for now :
if it doesn't take a turn for the better in ep 7, this is gonna end bad.

Ep 8 of Y;M and finaly some turnarounds, and l say FINALY DAMMIT, it was about time. now for the next eps ;] hes starting to act up, l hope this will continue the right way.

Myself:Yourself honest opinion : l liked teh ending, l liked the followups since 8 ep, the twins got me worried a bit right then but l guess that was anavoidable, l do understand them really, they didn't have to do that but it was a solution as well, and everything ended up well, the melody was nice, the story didn't pick much pace at start, but in overall, l can recommend this one. Not for children tough, the story might be hard to understand (reasoning behind characters in Higurashi is somehwat simmilar but it;s different in it's own way)

if To Love Ru ended properly it wouldnt be a problem.

l don't think 10 years was appropriete, l'd give at max 8 years gap, l mean, waiting 10 years to propose ? the yare 26 then, it far too long even in Japanese society, the standard age when japanese couples get marries is 24 at max standard age, also it would make that young girl at 20 years, wich she doesn't look like at all, WTF is with that, but meh, even the twins showed up on the scene so l was rather glad.

as long as they are feeling safe and rather happy who cares ? maybe their scars leave them vulnerable and they are to affraid of being apart? after all if one gets a partner that means they will seperate, and that might be very difficult for one of them, especially Shuuri, she is weak minded, and her brother is currently the only person she can talk about her own problems, she doesn't seem to trust anyone but him, even Sana and their friends can't do anything about that. l personally don't see anything out of ordinary between them, it's their life, the ycan do what they want, as long as they are happy, wich seems to be right.

also the most scarring thing that happened to SHuuri was Hoshinos confession of what she felt and did to her, wich was probably the biggest reason why she ran away from home.

about Sana and Nanaka :

l doubt Sana would take so much time confessing to Nanaka, the proposal for marriage might take a while for any couple but 10 years is a huge gap, since Nanaka had Sana to lay her fears and worries and he would shield her their relationship was rather obvious to end up together from the start of the anime, l was worried untill ep 8, but after that it took a nice turn, l think Nanaka and Sana had a rather rich relationship.

Due to the events that happened about his children he was not allowed to participate in the counsular election l suppose, wich served him right, l also hope that second wife of his dumped him along the way.
