I think they rushed the 10 year later part. BTW, they are releasing a Japanese game Visual Novel on the PS2, and its a sequel! I'd love to have a second season to further complete the 10 year period that they rushed.

Just started this anime watched the first 3 er 4 episodes so far. it seems pretty good.
has a decent cast, the lead male isn't an oblivious rock and pays attention to his pretty female surroundings.
He's also tryin to reconnect with his "childhood friend" again and hook up with her too which is nice.

So FAR so GOOD! hopefully the supporting male gets some!

darkjedi:
The dumbest female character has the biggest boobs... gyaaaaah *shakes head and laments*

I'm on episode 5 right now.

I watched this series recently and I quite liked it. It was almost soap opera levels of drama, but they interspersed comedy episodes every other ep or so to balance it out. Personally, I would have preferred if that hadn't devoted so much time to the weaker comedy and had maybe spread the drama around a bit more, but it was still quite good.

I like the specific drama itself; it was as dark as I would have hoped and wasn't quite as wangsty as I had been afraid it would have been.
See, I was actually afraid that the series would be wangsty crap after seeing the OP (the OP and ED songs were good themselves, but I am talking about the visuals here): It featured the main character standing in a crosswalk in from of a bland-name Starbucks listening to an MP3 player that wasn't playing anything. I mean, that kind of imagery just screams "wannabe socially-critical wangst can be found here!" but it wasn't really all that awful.

This is definitely the sort of thing I am always looking to find: Exaggeratedly high drama, but in a relatively sane world without magic or giant mechs or any other thing that doesn't actually exist. Similar to School Days, in that regard... So yeah, this is a good one.
