at the very least some characters (anime girls) are honestly showing their affection towards their target, l'm not talking about Yamada tough, she simply scaring the hell out of her target most of the time.

I don't blame you. School Days made me want to hunt down all of Higurashi, but lol and behold, no complete set can be found.

did you mean the DVDs on sale or you wanted the eng dubs ? cuz they suck ballz ?like nearly every english dub.
But yeah, I kinda watched Higurashi after this, cuz the show ended quite nice and I still wanted to kill someone :D

Ya I had the same feeling. Thou Myself; Yourself is on a more serious real story (in anime) rather than ... uh, making it all dramatic and shit -- The ending is what I'm talking about and pointing out to what you just mentioned. Realistically, with what the main guy is going through it does make sense as to why things didn't end up the way you think they should have.
