"Oh look, another Korean mmo.   We won't bother reviewing it.   Just don't play it."

Yes, literally - word-for-word.

I'm quite happy I'm not in USA where people seem to be ignorant if they actually said such things.
It doesn't seem though you're actually read anything people answer for you, so why even bother being in here if you're only going to continue to flash the "KOREAN MMO"-sign? It's not like anyone is going to bother to attempt to convert you.
And no where have I stated that Koreans games aren't bad, I have even said that they tend to be quite horrible, so I cannot see why you think I've lived in a cave.

shabutie:
Yeah... you should probably try the game before automatically labeling it as "Korean Garbage".

Aion is pretty much World of Warcraft Asian Style (and that's not a bad thing)

kyanwan:
I'll try it.   I suppose.

I wish I hadn't heard of it beforehand - b/c I'm running around like a headless chicken-little here ... all I know, is they've got pretty graphics ( a drawback in my books - usually, the better the graphics, the worse the content - for all games ) --- and it's, well, fodder for flashing that same tired old card - as was said.  :)

( On a side note - some of their other products sucked hard at first.   After sucking for a while - they got it right.  Samsung & Hyundai for example.  )

Actually I don't think the graphics are all that super amazing, it looks nice and it suits the game, but that's just my opinion. I rather like the fact that they actually put alot into perfomance instead so you shouldn't suffer high fps-loss just because alot of stuff going on. My computer can handle 10v10 without any bigger fps-loss, and I have 3ghz singlecore and a radeon9800 pro so it's seriously old(though more than 10v10 and I start to suffer from bigger fps-loss).

It's a big benefit for EU/NA to get Aion nearly a year after it's been released in Korea with the latest patch with all content. I actually think it's for the best we get it so much later than Korea which had issues with different stuff in the early versions.

Ahhh - I see.

Ok then.  That'll be the test.   See what they release.  If it's exactly like the current Korea version, then ... possibly good.

If they pull the same old tired "release what we released first at home, then release the updates slowly" -

:)

If they pull that - we've got just another Korean MMO.
