I got me friend here. . .he was an eq kind of guy. . .he really got into WoW back in the days (we were in the first 5 to reach cap lvl 60)

he dropped wow on expansion, due to "crappy pvp"
he later on tried AoC which was a total fail due to lack of players
he started liking Warhammer. . . but he dropped it . . .i dont know why

im trying to get him into aion. . but he keeps telling me
"theres nothing special! only another wow"

. . .anyone got some epic things that i can totally wtfpwn him about?

i said "free fly combat!!!" "incredible spell graphics" "awesome animations". . .and "easy as wow"

It's not easy as wow. You don't get free gold gear in Aion like you get free epics in WoW.

I think calling it "easy as WoW" isn't exactly a Pro lol, btw the free flight fighting isn't really new and the fact it has night spell graphics is nothing new

Almost every Chinese/Japanese/Korean MMO has gfx up the wazoo that'd blind a Beholder 900km away.

I'd say it's safe to say if he's comparing Aion to WoW then he's never going to join.

Use the IGN download. The NCSoft servers are hammered right now and it's resulting in a lot of corrupt downloads.

Considering that the odds of a server crash the first week after a game's launch are fairly high, there is good chances you'll get to seem them. Oh, and Bakemonogatari is out.
