I was looking to maybe start WoW - and I saw that Aion may be better.
So I looked it up on Wikipedia.
Korean made.
I guess it's settled, Aion sucks a fat dick. I'm never touching another shitsucking assfucking piece of fuckcrap Korean MMO shit game ever again.
It's like manhwa or whatver - it looks good, but it always ends up sucking an AIDS asshole.

Let me give you a predicted summary of gameplay:
- Collect 50 rat penises.
- Collect 100 bear testicles.
- Collect 150 vials of flying fish sperm.
- Collect 200 of mountain rat penises
- Collect 500 glowing bear testicles

but thats the beauty of aion
it already exists in korea. . .this is the american/euro version that we're talking about and IF i must say its far from being a grind-fest. . .I was able to lvl up by questing really easy.

It is REALLY similar to wow. . .I played WoW, then I played Warhammer . . . I liked warhammer but I didnt get the grasp of it (it was different than wow) but this thing is basically the same thing. It has better stuff tho.

I like it so far. its pretty wowish. . . and from what i heard from a friend (who plays MMO's since everquest) he says that wow is a n00b MMO (easy to handle n get the grasp without being addcited) . . .Aion is like that too

I dunno. Anything game related that is "made-in-korea" will have an uphill battle with me. This hill that the battle will take place on has a name too: Mount Everest, covered in ice - with oil poured on it.
I know in Korea - it seems there are cave trolls who play their RPGs. They enjoy grinding mindlessly. Here in the USA - we enjoy maxing out quick - then smack PvP. :)
I'm not interested in spanky the monkey or loli-flying-cat girl either.Though, jiggles, the DDD catgirl, maybe. (ah shaddup) :P
We'll see if they put effort into the gameplay - to keep people playing, keep people entertained to make their money ~ not just ... leveling ... slowly, with all of the agility and speed of drunken snail.

Even though I agree that korean mmo usually are what you describe, but if you actually bothered to read what's been written before that's not true for Aion. You can without problem reach 30 within a week(in version 1.0) and max level is 50 in 1.2(which has increased XP from quests etc) and EU/NA will be launched as 1.5(more quests increased and more exp also including more leveling instanced).
It's more like vanilla-wow than a normal korean mmo when it comes to leveling, also the most bothersome quest I seen were to collect 50marks that has 100% drop chance and that's a group quest(it can be soloed, but still marked as group) and that's a campaign quest that gives loads of exp either way.
Btw the fastest I heard someone level were 7days to reach 45(which is max-lvl in version 1.0). So no 1000 vials of super flying fishes sperms gathering ;o Though I would actually like if I got a quest like that.

Ok, so I've devised up some more questions for you all! I use to play WoW until I hit 80, but then I didn't really see any reason to continue to gain armor because it was just another grind. I currently play Eve Online with no real satisfaction when playing it. So here are the questions!
Official TMRNetShark Questions For Aion:
* Smaller than WoW, correct? But still filled with tons of quests and none really too similar (Get me away from Dailies!)?
* Cities? How many MAIN cities? Are there smaller towns and bases for supplies and such?
* Armor System, do you have to repair your armor and such? Does it get more and more expensive as you level? (I hated 50g repairs)
* Definite room for expansions (like BC and WotLK for Wow)?
* There is actually people playing it? How many people can fit on a server? (Estimate)
* Is there a possible prevention of the number of "powerful" classes? (CoughPaladinCough)
* Would someone who played Wow and enjoyed leveling in it (me) enjoy leveling in Aion?
* And lastly, END game material... Will it keep me going (Like PvPvE and such for Armor or reknown or Cool looking Wings!)?
