This week and probably next week:-

Nogizaka Haruka no Hitsumi (spelling off my head)
True Tears

Haven't seen it. It's like 180 episodes and 5 movies or something, and I have all of those. Worth watching?

Finished rewatching Lucky Star, it was... 4th time? I think. This series is like crack to me, I could just let it go in a loop, and not watch anything else.
I think I'll rewatch FLCL soon(that won't be the first time either)
But I have a shitload of shows I started and didn't finish, I need to watch them first. (Not to mention that I'm now downloading yet another show...)

Nice, I like Lucky Star. I only seen it once tho'. I might re-watch it again around July or August this summer (seems like the right season for the series).

As for the butt load of series you have on your shoulders, you might wanna start working on that and finish them one by one. I have like 6 or 7 series that I started and never finished, but out of the 350+ series, 80+ ova, etc etc, its not too bad.

I've been re-watching Eva lately, as well as Haruhi, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, and I just recently rewatched some Macross Frontier, if you can call that retro (which I guess you can, if you consider Nogizaka Haruka to be retro >_>)

Not really any retro animes I've purposely rewatched lately but I did sit down and watch a DBZ marathon a couple days ago. Man I had forgotten how ridiculous it can be. Also about a month ago I went back and watched the first 25 or so episodes of ranma 1/2.

I watched Kaze to Ki no Uta the other day. It's probably one of the first anime I watched, and definitely one of the oldest. I think it recently turned 20-something?

I've been rewatching Suzuka lately, after buying the Funimation DVDs as they came out and letting them gather dust for awhile. Now I remember why I wasn't exactly eager to watch the show again. It's like being in an unhealthy, co-dependent, dysfunctional relationship. A lot of the time, the show has me *facepalm*-ing or directing "What an Idiot"-type thoughts in Yamato Akitsuki's direction. But while there's a lot to dislike, there are still a few shining moments of comedy and tender drama that somehow make the experience all worth it. Oh yeah, and Yuka Saotome is hawt. Too bad she doesn't get more screen time.

It also helps that Funi's dub spices up the dialogue a bit and avoids a lot of the repetitive / heard-it-a-hundred times lines from the Japanese version. Despite all the negatives, I remember liking Suzuka overall by the time the last episode ended. Might've been a better idea to wait for the cheaper collection, though.

Got any old fansubs on HDD/DVD/CD? Please take a look at this thread.

Seriously? She's my favorite character in the series. Although it might have to do with the voice actors, as I think it has one of the best english dubs I've seen in a while. I didn't care for the subs at all, all the female characters sounded the same :(

And her "hello" intro sounded sickly in the sub *shudder* Give the dub a shot, you won't regret it.

Edit -- One more episode till I finish True Tears. After watching it again, I come to a conclusion that this is by far the best anime series that can literally pin-point realism for anime character eyes. Each scene was handled carefully, even the clothing parts and animation ... tho' I know some other anime would surpass True Tears in animation. But the point of the matter is the pupils in the eyes, the drawing, colors, reflection and careful measurements for each character.
