Retro Anime -- What you've been re-watching lately?
Hikaroo:
I've been re-watching all of Rayearth again... (probably the fourth time) I usually play it while I'm crocheting
I've also been re-watching Initial D again.
I'm thinking of watching Paranoia Agent again, as well as Elfen Lied.
I'm trying to get my grubby mitts on some Utena so I can watch that again. I freaking love that show.

Good luck with that... even if you go legit, the DVDs are hard to come by.
After finishing Final Fantasy Unlimited and its bad-ass but unsatisfying ending, I decided I wanted to re-watch another "based on JRPG" anime, so I threw in Arc the Lad. I first saw the Psychlo-Anime version of this show back in early 2005 when I was still getting all my downloaded anime on CDs from friends. Not the greatest show ever, but I figured I might as well watch it again since I picked up the used DVD collection for about $45 awhile ago. As is usual for re-watches, I'm going with the English track this time (since the P-A version was single-audio). It's all right, although I miss Yui Horie as Lieza. Oddly enough, her English counterpart Dorothy Melendrez went on to play Naru Narusegawa, another Hocchan role, in the awful Love Hina dub.
I'm about 2 episodes away from AtL's shining moment/redeeming factor, episode 13 -- there's a great sequence leading up to a new ED, after the heartbreaking scene where (click to show/hide)Elk is forced to mercy-kill the friend he'd wanted to save for his whole life. Having seen it before makes the episodes leading up to it just that much harder to take.

I went back and watched a few of the really good episodes of Gunslinger girl. I really wish they would continue the manga :( I miss it so.
