grab 1-4 from gg's then wait for qq to finish the rest. aniyoshi's version is too literal but they may be the first one to finish the subs between the better groups

I'd suggest gg 1-4, qq 5-11, and CoalGuys 12-25. I don't know if CoalGuys' version will be accepted on Box, but I found it perfectly acceptable, nothing seriously wrong with it. I didn't want to wait for qq anymore, and cg doesn't have the annoying "name in audio requires name in subtitles" practice that qq used. AniYoshi...well, I've said what I think of them on AniDB and in other threads, but in a nutshell I don't care for their over-literal "tenori means palmtop, keikaku means plan" style of translation.

EDIT: nothing seriously wrong aside from Coalguys' subtle and not-so-subtle trolling.

hopefully they'll finish them fast (those subbers you agreed the most) ^^, but, i understand that those subbers subs animes voluntarily so, no one has the right to complain, right? And if, one has the right to complain, quality/translation etc... then, go form you're group and sub it.. ^^,

Considering that the original thread for Toradora! with 20+ pages is corrupted/gone and it was pretty hard to figure out which thread to post in (thanks to the 3 other pointless threads people made, could have contributed in putting them all in that one original thread), this thread should just take care of all Toradora! talk. Toradora! will be in Blu-ray this holiday and will contain one extra episode (OVA). It doesn't hurt to watch this all over again, in blu-ray of course.

Guys, this is Toradora, not Seikon no Qwaser. There isn't exactly a lot of sex that goes on that you'd need to wait for it to be uncensored for... unless I'm totally wrong.

I have the DSX 720p release. I had no complaints to be honest.

And you know, the thing with sub groups... sometimes you really gotta drop a sub group, no matter how good they are, if they're taking too long for your show. Kira-Fansubs for instance, I had to drop from Seikon no Qwaser because they went full on retard and decided not only would they not just downscale their 1080p release to 720p, but they wanted to slowly release the bdmv, completely redoing the whole damn series for a negligible amount of quality nobody will ever even notice. And of course, I had to drop chibi-Doki too because they were so ridiculously slow it was like 1 episode a month.

And anyways, some groups decide to put stuff on an extreme backburner, and you just have to accept other sources.

If you haven't even seen it yet, DSX was fine. If you have and just want a good quality sub to keep, then do whatever. I'm just sayin'. You may not want to wait forever.

It's a good anime.

Irrelevant. It was because I hated AniYoshi subs that I used gg/qq/cg for my 720p version, not the other way around.

And let's not forget, AniYoshi's subs were simply harder to deal with from a re-releaser perspective, due to their hardsubbed AFX karaoke and sign typesetting. I remember that being one reason why CoalGirls didn't use them.

Either way, there would've been no need to wait for this Blu-Ray release anyway, since the DVD-rips have been available for ages. And they would've already contained anything that was changed from the TV version.

I didn't like AniYoshi's either. The DVD rips have been available for ages, there's few links on TT/Nyaa. Coalgirls is hosting them too and they just announced they're doing the BDs.
