I've done couple of searches and couldn't find a thread about this ... wasn't there a thread couple of weeks ago? Anyways.

I'm on episode 3, and this anime just feels like Naruto/Bleach bullshit drama stories. I've yet to see some good action since episode 1 and most of 2. It's all talk so far .... its all rubbish and talk.

I don't think there was a thread... I remember it being mentioned a couple of times elsewhere though.

I'm 7 episodes in so far, and I'm really enjoying it. A couple of interesting plot twists already, cool characters... average action.

Overall thoughts: opening song is addicting as hell... and Kanzaki is hottttttt!!!

Kanzaki is hot, but Mikoto is far superior. That's why Mikoto is in Saimoe, and Kaori isn't

Just so you know, the action gets a lot better later in the episodes. A lot. I was actually surprised. I'd say it ranked up there as one of my top favorite of the last season, but since most people seem to have waiting until it was complete to watch it, I'll refrain from going on further about it.

However, since she will be getting her own spinoff series in the fall it's only fair to say she's the most fun character. I don't really care for whatsisname the main character, and loli-walking-library is only there because she's loli. Seems like typical shounen fare, but...

Shorts under the skirt tsundere-lite. Mikoto is fucking awesome.

The show's got a great sense of humor. It's constantly making fun of itself for the cheesy action and goofy characters. Touma is psychotic, masochistic, and absolutely awesome. The dude totally deserves his crazy ass loli harem, with his damn teacher thrown in for good measure.

I thought that scene was extreme lol. It definitely caught me off guard but it was nice to see something new for a change. As for Toaru Majustu no Index i'll give this show 9 out of 10. Everything is somewhat confusing because it doesn't really have a main plot, but I kinda liked it that way. It made the storyline flexible and unpredictable. Quality was great and a good group subbed it so that added to the enjoyment.

And there will probably be more to follow, considering that the anime is based of a light novel, of which the 19th volume was just released. The anime itself has only reached up to volume 6.

Seconded! I've just watched ep 3... and there wasn't enough Mikoto. This is one series which isn't good to watch when sleepy, by the way. I'm going to bed now.

I'm looking forward to more Accelerator + Chibi-Mikoto personally.

I like Touma, because he's just kind of a guy - he doesn't really have the terrible back-story or particular poignant motivation they seem to force on shonen heroes, he just gets dragged into situations through his conscience to the point that it becomes a joke in itself. And I like the imagine breaker idea, it's not a flashy ability but it makes for interesting fights, since he can never just have an easy win.

Meh, Touma's fairly average as a shounen protagonist, though he does have that overprotective streak about ...everyone.

By the way, an ability which negates supernatural powers... Gakuen Alice, anyone?
