Actually I couldn't see a red thread :( Either because I watched it in one rush or because it's 7 a.m. now in my timezone and I'm going to bed now xD

I'm pretty sure Railgun's not actually officially a "second season" but a side story thingy, and Index will resume next year. Maybe they need to stall time to wait for the light novel or something, but that doesn't seem right because there are 20 volumes of light novel out according to Wikipedia.

Oh, a true second season... Eh, well I don't really care about Touma... So Railgun is good enough for me. ^^
