Wow, 2-series-and-a-movie seems to be the new format for the Gundam franchise? They did it with Seed, and now 00... when's a new UC series coming :'(

Anyway, I hope it turns out better than 00 did... not that 00 flopped, but it could have been so much more.

Oh come on man 00' is the most populat gundam in a long time. The series could have been more maybe but in my mind they cleaned it all up in those last 3eps
Yes they could have done more with ghram ect but i think they will with the movie. I cant wait for it.
I really did love the ending... THe 2 who got married at the end were the perfict couple ; )

Are...are they going to be fighting aliens in the movie?

I completely forgot about the incident on the Jupiter space station from the first season which I just assumed would've been explained later, but it seems to be foreshadowing.

That wasn't an old school Gundam. That was in fact the first Celestial Being Gundam, GN-000, or the 0 Gundam. It's a first generation Gundam. It should be noted that the one used in Gundam 00 Second Season has been repaint from the original 0 Gundam color scheme (according to Wiki).

Second generation Gundams don't show up in the anime, only in the side storys (Gundam 00P and 00F) as the GNY series.

Third generation suits are Exia (GN-001), Dynames (GN-002), Kyrios (GN-003), Nadleeh/Virtue (GN-004/005), Cherudim (GN-006), Arios (GN-007), Seravee (GN-008), Seraphim (GN-009). The only fourth generation Gundam is 00 Gundam (GN-0000).

I'm not sure, but wasn't the "Haro-Terminal" at Jupiter the one which Neena later had?

I thought it was the one Lockon had, although I can't remember their colours at this point.

I'm fairly certain all the protagonists Gundams in every series have been in homage to the original, using similar colour scheme and designs. The Throne series of Gundams, and Ribbons Almark's last-boss suit made me think of Char Aznable's particular distinction.

Uhmm... from what I remember... it was mentioned that one of the requirements needed to produce a genuine solar furnace is to have it on Jupiter... for some particular scientific reason...

So I'm thinking that the foreshadowing is that a new solar furnace is being made...

Yes, I have seen the original Mobile Suit Gundam. I know there is a striking similarity. Do you know why? It's because that one Gundam, the GN-000 0 Gundam, was designed by the person who designed most of the UC Gundams, including RX-78-2 Gundam.
