mew
mewtwo
celebi
deoxys <---i know that one can only be obtained at pokemon events. . .so dont mind that one

and on ruby

I tried looking it up on youtube but all of them are haxxed from gameshark. . . and also in webpages . . .they have this bs things that you have to get a lvl 100 pigeotto and a lvl 5 something and beat the elite four 70 times and do some other nonsense bullshit. . . i seriously doubt that is the way

The original red and blue versions only had two ways of getting Mew; getting it through official Nintendo events or cheating them in. It wouldn't be unprecedented for the way of earning him in later versions (especially remakes of the originals) to involve bullshit-ery or cheating. And looking on GameFAQs that seems to be how you earn Mew in those versions, although I guess you need Emerald, which just ups the bullshit to another level since it means a character is present in a game that came out in 2002 but couldn't be unlocked until 2004, and only again by having access to official events or cheating.

Do you mean Ruby or Fire Red? (guessing Fire Red)
Anyway, Mewtwo you can get in Unknown dungeon normally, others you need to trade from another game or get through event or cheating (which the last two you would need to do to get them on another game to trade them).

mew < Official Nintendo Events.
celebi < Official Nintendo Events.
Mewtwo < In a cave just north of Mistys town.
deoxys < Who?

That's for red/blue anyway.
Who plays anything else but the originals? =\

Who plays an original GB/GBC/GBA still?

DS'll play the the remakes (well, unless you got that silly DSi version) which is close enough without having to cart around an older system just for one game.

You can play the originals with a DS.
It's called Slot two, and is at the bottom of the machine.

Actually you can't play GB/GBC games on the DS (unless you get roms) =(

I can just imagine someone lugging around extra hardware so they could play the original Pokemon in public...

Hardware? Nooooooo. Software on my cyclods.
I have a rumblepack somewhere though, which features as extra ram for bigger games and things like Opera Browser.

If anyone here cares, I went to a bunch of Pokemon Nintendo events, with my M3, and by repeatedly copying my save, I have dozens of instances of legitimate rare Pokemon for Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. I wasted 150 hours of my life on Pokemon Pearl. I suppose on the plus side, I only spent 30 bucks on the game so that's a pretty good return.

Not that anyone cares, though.

I prefer to play them on emulators because I hate crunching myself over a handheld console and the charging factor is a hassle, but I am getting Platinum soon for the DS so I'll be playing on that... but at least I can trade now.

If you have an R4... there's a built in "game cheat" thing. You just need to find the cheats.
