Though the story with Rose (was that the name of the girl in that town with the priest?) doesn't seem concluded (well, perhaps it's about to conclude regarding the last episode).

The Rose episode and the Chirma Episode are 95% the same as it was in the old anime. It also matches up with the manga as well...

Also Rose story never really ends in the manga so if the new anime is following it. That mean rose will be shown an lot later on.

If you watch the old Anime , Then Yes Rose does have any ending but most dont like it.

Where the heck have you been? The original series rarely followed the manga and is VERY different from the current series. Some VERY big things happened in the manga that never happened in the original series. You could spoil it all and read the manga on it to find the page, page 1/2 of things that were different or you could just watch the new series and enjoy all the things that are different. Seriously though, the ending in the manga is COMPLETELY different even.

It's still ongoing according to this page, with 22 volumes to date, and no group seems to have scanned the first few volumes.
Ah, that's probably because Viz Media has licensed it in the US, and have published up to volume 17.

I think this is just the remake of the original FMA anime and the storyline follows the manga (correct me if i'm wrong). Well, I still like it even i already read the manga, dont know why.
Has the manga ended?
