im liking it much better then the original, less bullshit more movement.

Brotherhood hasn't given me any reason to care about the characters other than the fact that I'm already familiar with them and their stories. Nina's episode in particular was just WEAK. I was really disappointed. And  who would have ever thought I'd be indifferent to an episode with Winry in it!

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. The new season just feels too rushed to really care about the characters.

IMO it is supposed to be rushed, or at least must have a faster pacing than the old one. Cause if it has a lot drama just like the old one, then won't it be too boring judging that most of the viewers have watched the old one and already have an idea of what's going on / what's going to happen?

mgz:
exactly my thinking, i thought the original was dragged out to much anyway.

But a majority of the viewers have seen the first slowing it down would probably see a drop in ratings

I perfectly understand why it's rushed. That still isn't going to make me like it. >_> I also have to wonder how people watching FMA for the first time feel about it; I can't shake the feeling that, after watching the new season, they might be wondering what the hell made FMA so popular in the first place.

Oh well, I'm just hoping things will get back on track once the series hits the new manga material.
