Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Watched the first several, then stopped. Still reading the manga, but will wait for the english dub.

I stopped watching brotherhood after about 5 episodes (because it was way to similar to first series and felt rushed). I resumed watching brotherhood at about 11 and have enjoyed. It really is high quality show, the plot is still convincing, characters are interesting and the animation is nice. Hopefully it stays this way.

Wow, it started ok, but I'm pushing myself just to get past episode 3, they really kill the mood over and over. The show doesn't even feel like it's taking itself seriously, that's fine for a comedy but not for an action show, and when it tries to be funny it really isn't. I'm only going to push through to see the divergence of the plot later and I rarely give up on a show less then 3 episodes in, but so far I'm disappointed.

Get through to ep11 or so. The pace will slow down somewhere around there.

I've always found FMA to have quite a bit of humor actually, I wouldn't classify it as a Super Serious no laughing kind of show/manga.
So far I'm enjoying it and the mix of action, seriousness, and of course the laughs is very satisfying.
