Nothing wrong with humor and i'm aware that the original had some amusing things sprinkled in. Some of the best shows know how to balance the different aspects to improve itself overall, this show just seem to way overuse...how should I put it, Generic over expressive anime faces that don't fit the mood of the moment. The original had the comedy without adding it in at inappropriate moments, that's really what's bothering me more then the pacing. I can handle it speeding by because of all i've already been exposed to in the previous show. As a standalone I think anyone would be missing out if they watched this series first though.

some ppl do prefer things in English, when your native language is English and you tend to watch things other then Japanese anime it sounds more natural, and they don't always butcher the voices in dubs, sometimes it actually sounds better, and if your struggling through a show or you spent all day reading real things like books, sometimes it's just easier to make yourself watch something you don't have to read. It's a matter of preference, you don't have to be rude just because someone expresses an opinion different from your own about subs vs dubs.

Many anime characters don't even always look Japanese*anyone who thinks matsumoto from bleach for example looks japanese just because she has a japanese name needs to be smacked*, why should they have to always be voiced in Japanese *with no foreign accents much of the time* to sound right to some ppl? Not to mention Japanese voice actors often butcher foreign accents and languages used in the Japanese audio of the anime worse then English versions. Case and point.

l'll wait till it's finished to watch it, but l know already almost everything, l know l'll like this show, but to me S&W2 and Bakemonogatari are currently the best ones, also Umineko is kinda going to go the right way now ;]

l sure hope Bakemonogatari next ep is edible.

FMA2 is its own, and I don't mind the sudden humour. Did anyone else think:

(click to show/hide)Gluttony looked like Spiderman in the cartoon when he transforms into that monster spider?

Anyway, that was quite a surprise. Damn, I need next episode ;__; why so many cliffhangers!?

the only dissapointment l had in the first series was that the opening scenes were never used in the anime or the series, l found that weird, a scene like that would be so awesome.
