He's probably thinking about the first series, and with this being a remake there's bound to be differences. She dies the same way in the manga.

I like to marathon this, so I've only watched up to ep.29 or 30 and am waiting for a few more weeks to do it again. However, when I went to download ep. 33 just now it seems Eclipse's site is down again. Is it just me? When it went down last time I'd get it on Demonoid, but they're still down as well.
Since I don't plan to watch it for a while it's not a huge deal, just a bit concerned.
