that depends on what you mean by fight, l'd say it's more like a battle, first of all they need to stop the following:
Pride
Gluttony
Wrath
Sloth
Possible return of Envy
Stop the Circle from activating or reverse it
Stop "Father"

thats quite a lot to do in a single fight, thus someone invented a word COMBAT/BATTLE

if we divide each enemy to at least 2-3 eps, wich would be aweseome to say the rest of the series will be this last battle, and probably one recap and some fanservice to Winry/Hawkeye whatever your pick, and then some ovas would be welcome ;]

You and your fanservice... why don't you stick to series like Ikkitousen...

The last fight or as you say battle has begun since they arrived in that outskirt slum of Central... There will possibly be no break between the fights as they are all intertwining. In the next episode Mustang's going to instigate the revolt in Central while Al and Ed are continuing to fight the Homunculi near the slum.

It is "which" and "aweseome"

After watching episode 47, my friend and I were talking about how much time we were thinking is going to elapse per episode. Do you think they are going to use up say... 14 episodes from...

they're going at a pace of 1-1.5 chapters/episode.
I think you can make your guess from that rate.

I wonder if Miles is going to participate in the fight other than giving orders. I like him, he's cool and being voiced by aka voice of Date Masamune and Roronoa Zoro only makes me like him more.

One word for you, Havoc10K = dojounshi.

It's almost non-stop action from here to the end (except possible epilogue), squee ;D

Withdrawal is almost worse if you've read the manga since you're anticipating to see all the cool fights animated.

Will be feeling a bit melancholic at the end of June when the series ends. I just wonder which ends first, manga or anime (last chapter in June or July?)

63-48=15 episodes to go. ~4 months. The manga is 18 chapters ahead. At the end of the series the manga has progressed another 3-4 chapters. If the anime included mostly 1.5 chapters/episode I think that would fit considering that 15 episodes aren't exactly 4 months. I think the end of the anime could match up with the end of the manga with the prerequisite the manga ends.
With no breaks (like national holidays) the series is ending on June 26th, 2010. Are there any holidays?

The slaughtering of Gluttony has a nice musical accompaniment.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Massacre. I actually felt quite bad for him. It was really a one-sided battle. And he couldn't do anything. :-\ But we gotta give him some props, he lasted much longer than Lust.

Just in case anyone missed it; no subs but it's pretty easy to understand.
Supposedly there's a version with English subs according to AniDB although can't find it, anyone?

Somebody give TMD-Raze a statue of gold, they subbed the newest episode in 4 hours. I've never been able to watch FMA on a Sunday. :D

gotta say, pride is pretty damn stupid, but his power of all homunculi is probably the most dangerous, l have my thoughts about lust though, but l will keep it to my self for now, dunno if l'm right, don't want to spoil that fun part yet.
