Wow, Eclipse has picked this one up now. Since their policy is not to drop things regardless, it's conceivable that they'll finish it.
Oh my god, Funimation is gonna be so pissed off! I'm so happy that they picked it up! They're my favorite fansub.

Are they picking up Hayate no Gotoku 2nd Season?! I hope they are! They should ignore HorribleSubs trolling. After all, they ARE horrible.
Yes!

I remember being on #eclipse back in april when they released the OVA of the second season and called it "Hayate no Gotoku!! episode 0" therefore I presumed that they will pick the whole season.
Indeed Eclipse is <3.
If it matters, they released episode 1 of Hayate no Gotoku!! (2nd Season).

Eclipse formed after seeing School Days. They desperately fell in love with the gore.

I downloaded the 1280x720 version of Eclipse's release and I can't seem to get the audio/video/subs to sync up. When I manage to get everything synced up, after around 10 sec it falls out. I've never had this problem before and it's driving me crazy!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running a newer build of WMPc then the one that came with CCCP and I thought I was running into the problems they talked about until I tried it on my friends computer and lap top with no luck.

maybe this can help you http://forums.boxtorrents.com/index.php?topic=8513.0

four groups (eclipse, gss, shinsen, taka) have already released episodes and the best one is eclipse's version. i saw a few typos on gss' version. but they're released it a day before eclipse so it's not really a problem. shinsen released it first but their reputation for slowing down as the time goes by concerns me. taka seems to be the only group that releases it in 1080p but i question it's quality since it's a mere ~330mb.

Could someone please tell me if the anime is exactly the same as the manga?

People have mentioned that it is introducing characters earlier. I've watched the original anime and i'm now reading the manga through (on vol.7 just now) and i wouldn't want to watch any of the new episodes that could spoil the manga.

This is going to be a re-telling of Full-Metal Alchemist isn't it? I was confused when I heard there was going to be a sequel in that how would they continue the story from the first series but now I see that this is not really a sequel but so far seems like an alternate story.

And is Ed voiced by the same person who does Naruto????

This time it will stick closer to the manga.

No she is the voice of Temari.

That's weird, I got the first book and it seems to correspond with the first series quite accurately (only judging from the first book). Botherhood started off introducing the Ice Alchemist who I don't recall in the first series, I guess the plan the rest of the series to follow the rest of the manga  ???

I never watched the first series, but apparently after episode 18 or thereabout, it diverges a lot from the manga. (Or so fans tell me).

Yeah, as said before, at about 1/4 of the original series goes in a totally different direction than the manga does.

Thats great, it gives options. Of course, I wonder how many of these groups will stick through it to the end...Eclipse FTW!

Ok. I think I've watched the opening about 50 times now. Seriously, anything YUI touches turns to gold. Such a great OP.

And is it just me, or does Ed look older than before?

It's the way they've drawn the eyes in the new version. Roy looks a lot older than he used to.

Ep 2 does not disappoint. I'm gettin happier and happier that they did this new show.  The atmosphere is better than the orig series.  It makes u feel more for the struggle that the brothers go thru.  And I already have more respect for the fuhrer than i ever did in the orig series.

Oh yeah, Ep 2 was pure win. I like that it isn't trying to hide any of the secrets from the first series. I was expecting to have to sit through a bunch of episodes while they tried to hide certain facts about ed/al and whatnot and then act surprised when they revealed it but they are taking a different rout that works out wonderfully. Eclipse FTW once again.
