Hmm, I'm not sure what to think about 59... there was too much deus ex machina for my taste (is that even the correct way to put the term in a sentence?)

(click to show/hide)First off, a chimera and May appears, and suddenly the fight vs. the "Wraths" becomes a bit too easy for no apparent reason. Following that, the true Wrath appears simply because as he fell into the water, there was a damaged grate that lead to the room with the mad scientist by chance. I can understand Pride appearing after that though. Lastly, while it went both ways with the predictions of human transmutation, I thought the way it actually happened was the third occurrence of deus ex machina.

I did like the chat between Al's body and soul. However, I was wondering a bit about why he would get the choice of having his body back, when none of the others do. His case is a bit special, I'll give him that. I was also thinking that if Al got his body back, wouldn't that ruin Our Father's plans somewhat? The body saying that he might just have caused the world to get overrun by despair by going back sort of confirmed my thoughts, but he might've just have meant that "going back either way" would lead to the same thing (in which case I find it a bit pointless).

I found Mustang's loss interesting, and am looking forward to see him kick ass sightless. Just a guess, of course.

Didn't they say that a soul seeks out its body (or vice versa) and that that is responsible for his blackouts. And maybe this is the reason that he had a choice.

well, (click to show/hide)Al's body said that it's him returning could lead to worlds disaster, doesn't really matter in wich form he would return all they can do now is to defeat Father and Pride, and that won't be easy, but should he disable their Alchemy, they can still fight melee, and May has Eastern Alchemy, so it shouldn't be impossible, the only problem is Pride, but it seems like he can't recover his wound as well anymore. At least he didn't recover that facial damage he recived just now.
