Sloth's body was a container just like his father's so I don't know where his core would be.

I hope to God the ending is nothing like that. He must be destroyed. However it goes I'm sure it'll crush the first series. So far impressions on the ending of manga seem pretty well received so I'm not worried in the least. Hell I hate to see any show I love end really, especially when shit like Naruto or Inuyasha go on and fucking on.
