Wasn't his eye his stone?

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

no, his eye was just his BigShot point, he used that eye to intercept attacks, didn't Humunculus always had the core at the heart ?
Lust :Core in place of Heart
Gluttony : Core in place of Heart
Envy : Core in place of Heart
Greed : Core in place of Heart
Pride : Core in place of Heart

dunno about Sloth cuz he was wtfpwnt
and Wrath probably had a very small ammount of souls to allow him aging, thats what l would bet on.

"Father" is his name, but his true identity isn't known, other than a dwarf in a bottle maybe.

ep27: recap episode... SIGH
i despise recaps, especially when they make you watch them by adding some new scenes here and there which in this case they did

Sloth's body was a container just like his father's so I don't know where his core would be.

I hope to God the ending is nothing like that.  He must be destroyed.  However it goes I'm sure it'll crush the first series.  So far impressions on the ending of manga seem pretty well received so I'm not worried in the least.  Hell I hate to see any show I love end really, especially when shit like Naruto or Inuyasha go on and fucking on.

yeh he can't be left alive, so far Ed was able to help Greed/Lin and Selim, l wonder if he would be able to help Lust, doesn't matter anymore, Ed tried to save Selims body only, and Father needs to be destroyed, he poses to much threat to leave alone, and l hope this is how it ends, btw, l don't think he holds GOD at all, he has something, but definitly not a GOD, surely some imba powerful soul, and if it is GOD he just lets him do it for now.

l hope not, that way Hawkeye can completely PWNZRT him, right now she can pwn him 98% of the time, without his sight she can do it in 100%

but Hawkeye + blind Mustang = Fire Spree :D

she will be his eyes now.

pfff. Ed has been given a ton of plot armor i tell u! He's the only one out of a small army who can still fight (thats ballshit by itself). secondly his recovered arm should be so badly weak it probably snap if he used it to punch the father. Also stfu he was able to pull that metal out of his other arm (his recovered arm shouldn't possess the strength to do that). I'm not certain if he recovered his leg, but if he did then running and walking should also be beyond him atm.

Last thing to point out is that the father is on his last legs, at this stage anyone could fuck him up if they connected a blow on the guy. It's not some epic achivement that Ed has managed to hurt him. This is pretty much the same story as with Pride; Ed only does well when a Homunculus is already badly wounded/damaged. Infact Ed's greatest power is the ability to run his mouth off and scream shit at the top of his lungs (he probably read about the power increase directly tied into volume level of an anime chars scream......sadly Ed is exempt from this rule, haha). The only guy in this series who has beaten the homunculus's fair and square is flame alchemist.

he did it twice lol

but Ed is the only one standing, you don't know what the "thing" in the gate did with his arm, but it was looking pretty good at the time anyways, the difference between Al's body and Ed's parts is that Al's body lacked only soul, and Ed's arm doesn't need a soul, and he didn't get his leg back, he lost his leg to transmute his mother, and Al could only give him his arm since in order to get his soul back Ed sacrificed his arm.

l don't really care that Eds advantage is only because Father is heavily weakened, it looks good and if you don't like it stop watching, it LOOKS GOOD and thats enough for me to say Ed's kickin ass.

besides, Ed doesn't have any alchemy speciality, like Armstrong or Mustang, so don't even bother comparing Ed to any of them.
