Indeed wrath was the hardest to kill after father........But come on as i have already said father was so strong that he could even beat chuck norris!!!!Seriously i did not believe that an epic end like Code Geass or Gurren Lagann would suit brotherhood the best......Although some cliches could not be avoided.

I loved this show but am a bit dissapointed
(click to show/hide)that only greed and hohenheim died at the end there, it just feels like they gave it a too perfect ending for me. I mean "god" just gave in to ed because he said yeah but i have my friends.
But still such an amazing show.

Havoc10K:
about ed's gate token:
(click to show/hide)l think that "GOD" always thought what humans can and cannot sacrifice, l think if ED sacrificed the ability to perform Alchemy, their mother could have been revived, l mean, it could, but luckily that didn't happen, l think it's been a good thing, l mean, that "GOD" gave them power to see what they can do about it, and l think sacrificing such a power is an incredible token, humans who know Alchemy pretty much rely on it too much, it becomes their second skin, so l think it's only fair that this could equal a sufficient token for Al's life.

omg i can't believe its over. it definitely rates as one of the most entertaining, engaging shows i've watched. :(

The ending had nice/funny/cute moments but the conclusion was extremely disappointing in that it really fails to provide adequate closure on many of the issues the story raises.

(click to show/hide)for me the biggest issue was mustang using philosopher stone WTF - seriously ED didn't use to get his life back. I think it's rediculous to argue that mustang eyesight was so important for the Ishbalan's and Havoc didn't need to get his legs back. To make things worse Lin becomes emperor with the aid of the philosopher's stone.  That just makes the whole series' message pointless. I absolutely can't believe they did that.
Overall impression of the show
I really liked this show until the ending. I thought it was much better than the first series, which I also had a high opinion off.  But they last 10 or so episodes were rushed, the plot becomes unrealistic and they conclusion was terrible. The ending was worse than the first series (which also had a dodgy ending). It's a better than most seinen shows but still so far from greatness imo.
Overall, I'd give it a 8/10. (I feel i'm being very generous)
