Iirc Alphonse is only a couple years older than May.

if by the end of the show (and episode) Ed is around 16 years old, Al is 15 years old and May around 13, in the picture l posted earlier it seems May is a bit older, maybe around 15-16 yo, Winry was the same age as Ed but only a few months older, it was pretty funny but in the original, Ed won a fight against Al only once, they fought over who will marry Winry, they were around 6-7 years old at the time, it was pretty damn funny if you ask me, Ed must've put up one hell of a fight ;]
