the fact that Mustang keeps reffering to Ishbalans in order to rebuild their nation and give them freedom does indicate that i twould be them being angry, but he does mean Elric brothers, also he is concerned about how the Ishbalans would react hearing on ocasion that he used up the lives stored in the philosophers stone from the war of Ishbal to restore his sight, that doesn't help interactions at all.
to Mustang, his sight is only important for combat, but since Hawkeye will be there for him, he has better eyesight than before IMO.
it's natural Havoc would reject treatment, he got used to his situation, and can finaly start to make his own future without Mustang constantly butting in his love affairs :D (remember, Mustang stole qute a few girlfriends from him :D:D:D:D)
Winry looked very happy, but you could feel shes also very sad when Ed left, that smile felt forced, l guess she still hates to see them leave, even if their journey now is different than it was up until now, her feeling didn't change at all.

On the mustache note, is it just me, or is trying to be trusted and growing one of the most classically evil mustaches ever, not really go together?

However growing a dick dastardly mustache, gives off the idea that you're going to try and blow up Ishabal with dynamite :P
