if you haven't seen the previous movie from FMA1 you should be ashamed, if they will release a Movie on FMA:B it will be a great story, and not a recap.

Just finished watching the entire series and I have some questions.

(click to show/hide)
-What was Trisha's promise?
-What is the thing in the flask exactly and how was it made from Hohenheims blood?

I can only answer the first one with any certainty, but I believe she promised...

For the other you'll have to wait for someone a bit more knowledgeable.

I've seen the TV series (and followed the on-going show) from a long time ago. Now that they've remade it, I'm up to episode 20. I started watching this yesterday. Brings back a lot of memories. God motha fucking damn, isn't this series too damn good to describe? I'm watching Eclipse 720p version. Beautiful. On episode 21. I'm sure they've added few new characters. What else have they changed? (Keep spoilers away please, I don't remember it at all since 6 years ago)

Added from the original show form several years ago? More crap than i can list as from there on out the two shows have nothing in common minus several main people. But man brotherhood far surpasses the original airing as it should. So very much good stuff coming down the pipes for you.

You should say that Brotherhood is the original and the first show a spinoff. FMB is in many ways superior to the original.

Really, what cave did you spend last year in, Tatsujin?

You missed all the awesome discussions we had:

I don't watch incomplete shows or on-going shows. I have very bad patience ...

I'd appreciate if someone could clear this up for me.

I understand that this show is a second adaptation that follows the manga more closely. I also see that the manga as well as this show, is over.

So, is the ending of Brotherhood the same as the manga's? ie is everything lined up, Or did it get cancelled early?

I'd look into it myself some more but I am trying to avoid spoilers. Thanks.

Manga ended naturally and splendidly and around the same time as the anime
From what I heard the (still have 20 episodes to watch but I did read the whole manga) the endings are about the same and I have to say it's WAAAY better than the original series (which I got bored after having seen half of it, had to force myself to finish it)

No way this would be cancelled early. BONES and Arakawa have probably been waiting to re-adapt Fullmetal for years since the first series was aired.

Edited since TwEeD beat me to it.
