They sure know how to nab RUIN the great anime quickly. guess it won't even get to grace BoxTorrents for a few days. Oh well. I guess the first season was so popular in America they would almost have to grab it quickly.

lol you can put it that way I guess. You have to admit that Funimation licensing the first series is the main reason it became so popular in America (assuming no one else would have licensed it if Funimation hadn't). FMA is the only anime that has decent dubs. It's the only anime I can still stand to watch on Cartoon Network. Hopefully they don't put Johnny Bosch in this version anywhere. I am soooooo sick of that guy doing the main character voice in every freaking series.

i dont care why it became popular in america, its just a statistic that funimation has a high % of ruined anime for the amount they pick up

Where the heck have you been? The original series rarely followed the manga and is VERY different from the current series. Some VERY big things happened in the manga that never happened in the original series. You could spoil it all and read the manga on it to find the page, page 1/2 of things that were different or you could just watch the new series and enjoy all the things that are different. Seriously though, the ending in the manga is COMPLETELY different even.

TCLe:
Like the rest of y'all, it does seem rushed.
Though if I really wanted to watch the indepth story during this part of the timeline, I would watch the first season.

Hopefully it slows down right after the 1st series deviated from the manga.
