dyk:
anyone heard about Monster being live action'd by hollywood, i remember hearing about it along time ago, i acctually think that might have the potential to be a great live action, aslong as they dont chop it down and squees it into a singel film

newy:
if i'm not wrong there has been a h'wood movie named monster but I believe it doesn't have anything to do with anime. IIrc it's based on a true story starring charlize theron (she won the Oscar for starring in that movie)

dyk:
yea, its not that movie, but i found this on wiki tho, so if its still liable, it should be out some time this year

Live action film

Major Hollywood film studio New Line Cinema has recently acquired rights to create an English language live action film adaptation of the series. Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Josh Olson, who is noted for his work on the 2005 American/German crime-thriller film A History of Violence will be writing the screenplay for the project, which the studio expects to be released in 2009

a history of violence was pretty decent, so theres hope atleast

Zac Efron? Seriously? WTF. How the hell is he going to play Sousuke? Reeves as Spike seems genius compared to this.

FMP! is a brilliant series, but I have no intention of ever watching this garbage... unless the person playing Tessa is a babe... then I might reconsider.
