The one with all that relationship stuff going on, I think... wait... :P
the aforementioned relationship stuff includes, but is not limited to, boyfriend-girlfriend as well as father-daughter relationships - just to make sure everybody understands that my statement explicitly doesn't state anything besides "there's human interaction in both Clannad and Clannad ~AS~"

I personally find ~AS~ more dramatic, and it's the best work by Key for me. <3
Clannad ~AS~ > Kanon (2006) > Air, Clannad
My personal preferences :) I don't count Angel beats, but if I did, I'd put it next to Kanon.

Oh, so S1 then by the sounds of it. If you think that's emotional, just wait until you've watched After Story.

If you thought S1 was emotional, wait till you get to S2 (AS).
THEN YOU WILL KNOW WHAT TRUE EMOTIONS ARE.
