Clannad [Series]

<< < (136/137) > >>

Bob2004:
Doki finished translating Tomoyo After into English not too long ago, so look there if you're interested in playing it.

Logiick:
Oh did they finish it? Score. Grabbing that.

ddavey12:

--- Quote ---I preferred Tomoyo over Nagisa from the beginning, and it was really annoying that he got with Nagisa to me.
Honestly they should just do an entire series for each story arc and give them all a chance.

Oh God... that would be amazing.

She was just so much more interesting, I think they could have done a lot more with her than Nagisa.

Nodame-chan:
Clannad is perfect in the way it is.
I personally didn't like Tomoyo or Kyou arcs.

Nagisa was the right choice or else it wouldn't be so heartbreaking.

That's debatable. I cried more for the Tomoyo-arc than the whole of Clannad, until of course the whole... father-daughter stuff in Afterstory.
(click to show/hide)But I didn't really cry as hard as I thought I was going to when Nagisa died.
I guess it just depends on your taste of characters in the series.

I agree. I mean, don't get me wrong, Nagisa had her quirks and whatnot. But Tomoyo is just awesome.
I liked their story much better.
(click to show/hide)The whole... her being amazing and student-council president and him being the "loser" who's holding her back and just.. everything really. Overcoming the face of adversity and what society felt they should have done. That she somehow felt she wasn't good enough for him because of her past and everything. Don't know, it just hit harder for me than the other arcs.
