Bob2004:

Overcoming the face of adversity and what society felt they should have done. That she somehow felt she wasn't good enough for him because of her past and everything.

That's what I simultaneously loved and hated about Tomoyo's story. On the one hand, it's a great setup, and it was executed brilliantly, but on the other, it's so unoriginal. That kind of story has been done to death in all kinds of media for years, so it just felt a bit uninspired, and didn't grab me as much as it could have. It was very well done though.

Yeah, to each their own.
I'm personally a sucker for the classics. lol.

Just like how harems never really get old for me. It's always the same thing, and the characters always have similar personalities to other characters from other series', but because it's like... same personality; different character I don't really care and enjoy it just as much.

I'm simple, I suppose.

Tatsujin:
Doki released a second patch for Tomoyo After, Patch 1.1. I got a little ... just a little bored of Yosuga no Sora's Kazuha's route ... Sora's route was so freaking amazing, <3 Sora! Taking a quick turn to this VN. Gonna hit it up and enjoy my most beloved character ... and see the devastating ending ... -brings a giant empty bucket-. HERE WE GO!
