Watched the 1st ep subbed by DB (

Let's see if they follow the manga.

Like it. They do not seem to use the slapstick-like parts of the manga. What are you impressions?

It seemed interesting enough. Very unusual style of fighting... but whatever. Was pretty good otherwise.

i'll try it cuz dattebayo was very consistent with their naruto subs. i could almost always count on a new episode of naruto from them every thursday evening. now that i watch other anime's by fansubs i see that's a rare quality for fansub groups.

Seems chock full of many standard conventions (The "bad guy's" troop of underlings seemed kind of your standard spectrum) From those kinds of things it seems like something I could probably never call "great", but it looks like a very interesting show and I always appreciate DB's subs. The more I learn Japanese the more I can see the extra insight they put into their translations that you don't always see in your standard fansub.

Anyway though the main character's name is Sasuke, rite? Seems like a fitting show to replace Naruto on DB.

Watched it, hopefully it will continue being that interesting. Also I have no complaints about DB, because they do a high quality considering it's a speed sub.

It was picked up as a joint project with Yuurisan and Shinsen. Probably the best group to go with, and I watched thier release, It looks pretty darn good. But I would expect nothing less from Yuurisan because they do a really good job with most of thier projects.

I didn't really like the manga, the basic premise was interesting but the character designs were far too similar and the action was too difficult to follow, so I wasn't sure what exacty was going on and who was who... but that probably won't be an issue in the anime so I'll try it for a while.

Yeah, what you say is absolutely right. but somehow I got kept on reading and now I am more than happy to see it animated (not only for the purpose to understand some scenes^^).

Watched it, seemed like a pretty decent opening. If it keeps up with the current quality I'll stick with it.

yeah but some would misunderstand it and say its kinda have BLness all over the characters, some even says that because less women were there it kinda looked like its shoujo, meant for moe girls that loves boy to boy relationships. I dont mind but, I dont think its BL anyway.. lulz for them, somehow, the anime is good, ^^. I just hope DB would still continue subbing it though...

Stopped watching after 3 episodes...
It just bored me, I spend more time watching the hole in my t-shirt than actually watching the show after I downloaded ep. 3.

Yeah, the manga was extremely difficult to follow at many of the action scenes.

The thing I still don't understand is why anidb calls this josei (along with Eden of the East). Like, what the hell? From reading the manga, it don't seem too josei to me.

As good and "samaritan" as they are, these bishops, who took Teito in and gave him a bed, food, a place to live and yet, they still keep him in the shackles... I mean what's up with that? Or actually in other words - Wasn't Teito supposed to be a badass trained soldier? Yet he can't break the shackles he is cuffed in? I suppose it was same in manga (didn't/won't read it). A bit freaky, stupid and unnecessary in my opinion. Unless it's considered a moe factor in shoujo perspective? O_o

haha, yeah you have a point, but maybe the animators or the mangaka itself wants the shackles tacked in to make Teito cooler? i dunno.. ^^

and..maybe because almost all main characters are handsome, maybe thats why some would call it josei or has a shoujo factor.. >_<

So, the anime is almost finished. Either I was always drunken when I read the manga chapters or they did alter the story massively in the anime. Quite disappointed...

Im guessing they wanted to make it longer but they didnt pull the ratings they needed to milk it longer. Seems like there was supposed to be a lot more story and character development. But this isnt the first and wont be the last anime to not even come close to the manga ending wise.

The series has ended at episode 25, episode is a troll/fake release ... they have changed the subtitles to gay/sexual undertones conversations
