the show was great, and most of us liked it, but the way it ended wasn't nice, we were kinda disappointed, so the movies are supposed to fill that hole, but we in small group decided that we will wait till all movies are out and watch it in one go :)

some people said that the first movie doesn't make much sense and that is where the decision for me came from, I'll wait till all are out and watch them in one go.

I actually found the first movie enjoyable. . .I read everyone say it was "so so" and stuff like that but IMO it was good, it wasnt AMAZING as the series but it was good nonetheless. . . and the ending was a cliffhanger so I am kinda looking forward to the second movie... every subber says they didnt sub it cause it sux so much. . .:(

I'm not gonna be pick if very little amount of groups will sub it, honestly I think they didn't sub it because they are lazy, but I will not exact any revenge at them, since them subbing it for us is their free time, not obligation :]

Without giving away to much on the second movie:  There was more action in the first movie.  It was pretty much non-stop talking.  It was odd,  I feel that if I was a Japanese citizen the movie would have meant alot more to me.  I couldn't watch it all the way through,  I took a break after 45 minutes.  Then the end I kept skipping ahead to see if anything actually happens - nope.

well its not like the show was action packed... as long as there's a good story line I don't mind.... or as long as the dialogue is interesting (*cough*katanagatari/bakemonogatari *cough*)

I have mixed feelings about the second movie. . . I didnt find it "boring" but it wasnt action-packed (i dont know why anyone was expecting that)
It did fill up my expectations in how the story would end and I think they had to focus a lot on the dialog for that to happen (ergo some people might find it boring) but I think it was good.

those are the goods, the bads:

good stuff tho.

It's been a long wait but Eden of the East: Movie II - Paradise Lost is out.

apparently yes, it's the reason of all the talk, I'm not DLing yet untill someone good picks it up and subs it.

Found a great 720p torrent with a subber called "Translatorgasm". The name could be questionable but I've checked it out and I didn't find any flaws.

I just got done watching EP's 1-11. (I.E. The series.) I want more answers. lol
It's a good anime but... Idk. in the movies, do they actually give an ending or do they just leave ya hanging off a cliff laughing?

The movies are the ending. The ending to the anime was a cliffhanger for the movies.
