theres a third movie coming out right?

Yeah, but it's just a recap of the anime.

And Havok, I agree. The anime was great.

I just watched the first Eden of the East movie....

I want my hour and 20 minutes back... that movie was totally boring and I found myself daydreaming the entire time. The anime was 10 times better than this movie. It was crap with no real action or tension.

King of Eden... where they are in New York the entire time. It just ruined the entire plot of the show by being completely non-engaging with any elements and had no real tie in with the guy on the boat, the creepy stalker, and the people who worked at Eden of the East. No one even did anything cool with their awesome cell phone powers! I finished the movie, but I was completely hung out to dry on this movie and it almost made me want to delete the movie.

You do know that's not the ending and you have another movie to finish off the series, right?

Is it at least better than this one? By your opinion of course..

I honestly can't remember, I stopped caring about the series when the anime ended on a cliffhanger for the two movies. Though I know you'll "probably" enjoy the ending.

TBH the first movie wasnt that bad IMO . . .i mean it wasnt action packed or anything but it was a good progress for the story. . .the second one was pretty meh, it took like 3 months before any group decided to sub it (due to its boringness)

altho it ends pretty nicely with

I like the girl in this show/movies... just not enough to remember her name. She wears some cutsie stuff, but nothing like Princess Lover status. lol

Kenji Kamiyama has directed some of my favorite series of ALL TIME (Ghost in the shell SAC, Guardian of the Sacred Spirit, Eden of the East). But none of his movies ever blow my mind like his shows do. They always feel like really long episodes.I bet if he just made a movie from scratch it would be great, but who knows.

I picked up the BD's a little while ago and was going to try to rewatch them, then watch the movies with a friend of mine before he moved off to college (we watched the tv show fansubed when it was airing and really liked it)

the problem is im not sure what group to get for the 2nd movie: Paradise Lost. I have the TV series and 1st movie on BD (and a fansub copy somewhere),  but the 2nd movie will not be out in time. Since its a Funimation show its not available here on BBT, so i was wondering what group i should try to snag? Normally i have at least a rough idea, but i have not hear of any of the groups listed on ADB o_O Which one is the way to go? Im totally blind on this one, and cant just d.load a bunch to check because of the filesize. There isn't much room on this backup computer im using

I wanted to try to give it a watch this weekend if we had the time

btw, side note to those considering the Funi BD's.. they friggin changed the OP! the first epp has the original song, then all the later ones seem to have changed it. Its pretty damn lame. if i had known that i probalby wouldn't have bothered buying them =(

No need to be a cock. I have zero knowlege of any of the groups doing the 2nd movie. At least with most other shows ive heard of a group or two. Not the case here. Considering i have to watch it by this weekend and planned to watch it with my friend and cousin who is visiting i cant really d.load several versions and watch them. Nor do i have the HD space to do so. Ji-hi also doesn't have comparisons for the movies, and im not really finding any online. I dont really see a problem with asking in the thread for the series, since its not up on BBT anymore. If you arent going to contribute to the thread, or answer the question i asked then you can kindly shut the fuck up

Every time you show up here you ask to be spoonfed. Ever thought of investigating yourself? Or simply grabbing just any one? I'd love to shut you up tbh. Unfortunately, idiocy can't be shut up here.

uh hu, and half the time when i ask what group most people are watching you whine and bitch about it. I'm not really sure what the issue is with asking what group most people followed for a show. Especially on a movie, or something like this where its not on the site anymore and there are lesser known (not known at all to me) groups doing it, plus no comparisons on Ji hi or anywhere that i can find. And as i said multiple times i dont have the HD space to d.load multiple copies on this backup system. Plus i wanted to watch it with friends. Even if i had the space, watching it ahead of time to compare groups kinda ruins the point of watching it with other people

*shrug* whatever, haters gonna hate and whiners gonna whine, im not getting into a flame war about it. If you didn't like it just dont post.  Either someone will actually chime in with a recommendation, or at least tell me what version BBT had up at one point, or ill have to just pick a random version and hope its not god awful.

This anime looks interesting. Might check it out. Seems too romantic or whatnot for my tastes, but I'll see....

Isn't a purpose of a forum supposed to be for a question and answer exchange? Oh, no, I guess not. Are we all supposed to figure out everything on our own?

Think of it this way: your responses are found by internet searches, especially google's. The more USEFUL your response is, regardless of the question, even if it's been asked a billion times before, the better you are server a dozen or a hundred other people who have the exact same question in mind (who happen upon this website by a web search).

Hmm. I seem to be a little angry (I would have stopped at the first line if there wasn't a "Staff" label listed under your username). My impression from two posts sans a sarcasm tag: what you're saying is equivalent to writing a thousand-line program (very math-y and precise in nature) with minimal preparation while expecting the entire thing to work the first time... and, in the case that it does, somehow, work right away, getting angry when the first person looking at your source code complains about its unreadability.

In short: shouldn't staff be a little friendlier?
