She: The Ultimate Weapon
fohfoh:
lol... I had no idea Saikano was also known as "She: the ultimate weapon"
Gnabgib:
I don't read/speak Japanese but its my understanding that 'She: The ultimate weapon' is what Saishuuheiki Kanojo basically translates into. Japanese seem to like to shorten/mash words together and you get Saikano out of that.
Zeratual:
It might be an alternative title. I know that culturally there is credence to the idea that names in japanese would have different meanings if directly translated.

Almost finished with the TV series... can't say I like the series but it kept me watching 'till episode 10 at least.
Too many contrived situations to try and force tears out of the viewer. I guess the reason I kept watching is because I just sort of believed they would explain things in the end.
I like how at the end of the HQA-ANBU episode 10, they tell you it is (click to show/hide)the end of happiness in the series; in other words: things will now get really sad. ROFL. Are they serious? It's supposed to get worse? I feel a "school days" coming on.
(click to show/hide)Just when things couldn't get worse, Shuu-chan is about to finally have sex with weapon girl when suddenly her arm falls off. She's made of what appears to be wires and insulating foam. Does this freak Shuu-chan out? Nope... instead he notices that her breasts are larger in this new fake body. Time to get it on!
But there's still the issue of how to wrap things up. Queue up a big cataclysm that destroys the world except for Shuu-chan and an image of weapon girl in his heart. Nice and clean.

School Days doesn't get worse at the end. It only gets better and better till the end... which is the most epic win I've seen in anime ;D. Seriously I love that ending, it makes the series fell so nice. It was the first anime I saw since I watched CCS when I was 10 years old (I'm 18 now, and I watched School Days 7 months ago).
