Just finished downloading. It looks pretty interesting... but I've got a lot of unfinished anime ahead of it before it'll get watched.

This series is on my most disappointed list.  The first episode was awesome and thought this was going to be my favorite.  Then it turned to shi... well, the ending was okay.  Thank goodness that there were other great series then, like Toradora.

Kurokami is on that list too.  Started so good, but...  Though I'm now rewatching it in English dub....which isn't bad.  Maybe because I don't care for the original seiyuus and the protagonist doesn't sound so emo/annoying now.

This is one of the most confusing anime's I've seen.
All the skipping back and forth with no information
at all (except in later episodes) just made me
irritated. If it weren't for the quite stunning animation
and cool action scenes this would've been a
catastrophe, now it's only a huge disappointment.

I also interpret the ending as he's just started the
cycle anew, caught in an endless (?) loop which
Kuromitsu has trapped him in.

The main guy, Kuro, lost his memories. You just gotta listen to his words or those from around him and connect the scenes together. I'm on episode 4, the only missing part right now is the connection between the old century and the current one.

will probably kill his comrade so all that took in place doesn't occur. However, when the screen zooms out they are surrounded by ruins of cities. That was the confusing part. Tho' in the beginning of the anime, episode 1, doesn't he stop for couple of seconds and gets flash backs or illusions about the future?

I was disappointed when that blonde girl with the short hair died. She's very beautiful, tho' Kuromitsu is much more beautiful. ;]

Pretty good and definitely my favourite anime from 2008.  Loved Madhouse's Sword of the Stranger from 2007.  Pleased to see the occational quality period action show.

Explanation - In the first episode we see him ill and he passes out, briefly and then wakes up shortly after with his friend all concerned and they decide to stay at the house where kuro is, everything from that point on after him waking up is dream sequence.

It ends up with him in the future which they later explain every 100 years or so she lobs off his head and puts it on someone elses body and he loses all his memories.
They were separated because of the military/government more or less. And most of the show is him trying to find kuro.

At the very end they show him waking up from the dream, with him heading towards kuros house or so we assume. And the entire thing is a dejavu(if you dont know what this is google it)

The gore is great... well it's not extreme but it's still good. Mostly they used actual physics on it. So it's nice!~
