On my to watch list, loved the Beatles's Yellow Submarine movie. Will watch when I'm done with Ergo Proxy ...and Blood+ which is taking me a while to finish lol. Or maybe I'll watch an ep or 2 before then... which I tend to do rather often with anime I'm downloading nowadays, lol.

It's certainly worth the watch Zayras :P

Gogeta- I saw that Kaiba won that a while back... I wondered why. So I dl'ed it... watched the first 5 minutes and almost deleted the series. It looked so incredibly stupid, I couldn't get over the horrid animation style. A month later or so I gave it a second chance and I'm glad I did. The funky designs started to grow on me by the 3rd episode or so.

I wouldn't call it the best of '08, but I'd give it the best story of '08.

After some thought, I'm gonna give Kaiba an 8/10. Pretty good.

yup I got trown off by the animation also on the first 5 minutes. .. and on the first episode i didnt understand shit of what was happening and why there was soo little dialogue. . .but i was like "why did this win?"
and so I kept watching and on the third episode i went like "OMG! SNIFF SNIFF CHRONIKO!!"
and so i continued.

I've just finished watching the entire series.  Wow!  An extended, serialized experimental film!

The artwork is a bit challenging and kinda confusing at times.  The use of colour is stunning!
It was a little tricky figuring out who was in what body from episode to episode.
The mix of "real" and "virtual" was pretty bizarre.
I really like the artwork and music of the opening and closing sequences.
There are so many details in plot and artwork that I think it'll take a few viewings to more fully appreciate.
The last several episodes kinda tie things together, but they're kinda convoluted, both in sequencing and in references to previous episodes.

Overall, I think Kaiba is a very interesting experience that is unique and otherworldly.  It's definitely not aimed at children...  not because of the bits of sex here and there, but because there are some pretty heavy themes and some fairy convoluted plot lines.

I'm having a hard time with this series because of the art style.
I do like it though.

Well I finished watching and it is... awesome. Art style needs some time to get used to, but trust me, it is worth it  :D
I never thought that Vannila could grow on me cause he was sorta bad guy, but the 7th episode did it. One of the weirdest but most awesome shows I've seen.
