While GitS is my favorite anime I would have to say it isn't quite something I would want to watch right before I die. For me it would be Aria. I want to be happy when I die, and god knows that show does a great job of making me feel good inside.

I'd have to say Sailor Moon Stars, since it's the final season of the first anime I ever got into. It's like completing the cycle, and it's got a wonderful ending.
