K-On's OP/ED combination is very good. Separately, they aren't too special.
Eden of the East's symbolism/kinetic typography/stop motion papercraft beats everything.
Sengoku Basara's OP is made of so much awesome it gets the runner up.

If you're talking about the way the ED looks (which I'm fairly sure you are) I completely agree with you.

It's truly awesome, and the show itself isn't bad either. :P

Well, kinetic typography is using the motion of words as imagery to emphasize their meaning, so that's the OP. There's lots of examples on youtube. The stop motion papercraft of the ED is truly beautiful, though, and it shows how much pride Production I.G. takes in the making of their work.

There are a lot good OPs and EDs. Hard to decide...

My favourites for OP (no order):
  • Sengoku Basara
  • Fullmetal Alchemist
  • Eden of the East

quite good: Shangri-La

My favourites for ED (no order):
  • K-ON!
  • Guin Saga
  • Fullmetal Alchemist

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Ah well I don't really like the OP of Eden, it's nice n all but not that impressive.
The ED however is a brilliant piece of work.

Oh, and thanks for the explanation ^^

I've liked a lot of the OPs... but the EDs haven't impressed me very much.

OPs:
FMA: Brotherhood
Shangri-la
Eden of the East

EDs:
K-ON!
Eden of the East

I think the FMA OP is my favorite... simply because YUI rules.
