After 5 years, 9 months, and 5 days, Live-Evil has finished subbing this seires. Currently on box we have a mixed torrent of Shinsen-subs and Live-Evil. Can someone offer a torrent to replace the current one? I am suggesting this so that the torrent will be only made of one group and it will also include the DVD bonus subbed by Live-Evil.

Edit: I realise new offers get more attention than torrent swaps, but shouldn't we give the uploader of the current offer (JimKi) the chance to update his torrent with these eps? His description can then be cleaned up also.

I know that is a option but i agree with what Zalis said in the Maria-sama post( which included uploading a new torrent with the specials ) that a new torrent will have a fresh pool of seeders and will stay alive for a longer period of time.

The torrent currently up on Bxt has the first 34 episodes from L-E. Although the uploader did change the original file names it seems to make the episodes more "sortable". I'll upload it tomorrow, that is, if the original uploader doesn't do it before then.

I was home early tonight (after having a few drinks everybody went home early, so I went also) and decided to offer the torrent now; I blame the "oranjebitter". And of course the original uploader became active at the same time as me and swapped his torrent. He did no work on his description though. Lesson for the future I guess. Oh well, perhaps he would like the template code....

Yeah, that's something that often happens when you swap a torrent. It usually takes a while before people notice it happened and then this will correct itself. But I hope that the uploader starts seeding soon, since he renamed the files nobody else can seed the new files, well, not before they change the name of the original files to his standard.

The template still needed tweaking (title image mainly and I still needed to add and make screenshots) and at that point I didn't see the need to continue (the new files were my main reason), it was no fear of rejection to be sure.
The name change is very subtle, done to make the episodes line up in the correct numerical order. For example: "Detective Academy Q - 13 [3B873A3F] [IDE&L-E]" versus the official L-E batch name "[IDE&L-E]Detective_Academy_Q _13[3B873A3F]", you get the point.

that would be really nice, i've taken another look on the only available Detective school Q in Bxt, it seems its been seeded, ^^..

in any case, why dont you email the old uploader and ask him/her to change the template, description and add screenshots.. or even ask for macros74 to give him/her the template if its okay with macros74 too.. ^^ just a suggestion

I've sent the uploader a PM, offering my template (with all the missing info that should be in a description, sans screenshots) and with an enquiry as to his renaming of the files. I see the torrent now has 6 seeders and no leechers, so that's reasonable I think, we'll see...

Thanks. I had just renamed my files to your batch torrent standards (so I could seed them also) and at the moment don't feel like changing them back again to be honest. But I probably will do it anyway....

And since you don't seem to mind the renaming, who are we to "complain" about it, not?

The original uploader did not respond to my torrent comment or my PM (offering my template to him in order to bring his description up to current requirements), so eventually I ended up adopting this torrent. I've swapped it to match the L-E filenames they used in their 2 official batch torrents. Old seeders will have to change their file names if they want to continue seeding. For now I'll keep this torrent running 24/7. I will be curious to see when the first leecher will turn up.

And now it's also time for me to finish watching the series, still some episodes to go...
