Looking for a good Anime organization program

Hey,
Not sure if this goes in this forum or under the recommendation forum.
Since it's not an anime/manga recommendation, I figured it should go under here.

Feel free to move it if I'm wrong.

Pretty much what I'm looking for is the best website (or program if there is one) to keep track of the anime that I have watched and my ratings for them, and the animes I want to watch and am currently watching.

I would prefer a site with minimal ads and a nice interface.

Thanks!

Try these?

1. AniDB + AniDB O' Matic
2. Anime-Planet
3. MyAnimeList

You could also develop your own spreadsheet for it, like I did, or code your own, like my friends did. My friends have released their program though, so you could use it. It's called PythonAnimeList, or PAL for short. A Google search should find you it, but if it doesn't, ask me. It's totally ad/ware free and totally independent. There is a GUI now, though it used to be command-line based.

did you try windows, or linux or OSX, i hear they let you make folders and name things which allow them to be organized in any manner you see fit

I use Plex, a Mac only media center. It is based off XBMC which is available for all systems.
Also, ad blockers exist for a reason.

i don't understand what's the big deal.

make anime folder
make folders for each series
place files in respective folders

is that a solution to your problem? or do you want to be able to sort your anime not only by name but also with genres and tags? searching possible too, perhaps?
