Looking for a good Anime organization program
blubart:
if he wants to store information about what he watched (and perhaps deleted), what he want to watch (and hasn't downloaded yet) just creating some folders doesn't cut it.
imo AniDB is the way to go. MyList (everything you watched), Wishlist, Votes, easy update through AniDB o Matic, no adds at all, etc. everything you would want

make anime folder
make folders for each series
place files in respective folders
is that a solution to your problem? or do you want to be able to sort your anime not only by name but also with genres and tags? searching possible too, perhaps?

The thing about plain folder organization is that it's very generic and not tailored to the task of anime organization, and grows more and more clunky feeling with each title added. A program that allows one to sort through his collection based on a number of things (title, genre, studio, etc), search through them, keep track of watched/unwatched, and maybe even acted as a player would be more convenient for some people.
