As this is related more to anime, i am posting it here. I found it on Formula-subs website. I live in India and it worked for me. I was able to watch Phantom and FMA:B episodes on Funimation.com. I tried crunchyroll and it worked there too. I was able to watch a Skip Beat episode which i was unable to watch earlier as i was region blocked. Hopefully this method will work for a long time as Funi might be trying to find a way to stop this.

Thanks for the tip :). Can attest it works as watching first episode of Phantom right now just to test it
... only complaint is it keeps buffering every few minutes...

I think that's a Funi problem. Even so, it's better than nothing.

I can get it to work for Funimation, but CrunchyRoll still gives me that "unavailable in my region" crap. Not sure if that goes for any show or just a select few, so I'll have to test it further.

The opposite for me.It works on crunchy but on funi I get the region message.

Works on both.

Try clearing your cache before visiting there, especially if you've been using cr previously... Skip Beat works for me, tried it.

Edit; Can't seem to get Hulu working, any series, it just says it's unable to stream and urges to check internet connection :-\...

I tried this, and it doesn't work. Tried clearing my cache and cookies from crunchyroll already. Gonna try Funimation's site.

edit:
Funi works, but not crunchyroll.

It seems Skip Beat works for me either way, as disabling the add-on gives me no region issues apparently.

I tried it with Shugo Chara! and that won't work for me. Seems to be one of the few shows I can't view either with this add-on or without it.

@Lord of Fire: Shugo Chara! should be region free. It does have a 1 week limit for newer episode though. Series like Code Geass have a region lock, and it doesn't work for me. However, I was able to watch FMA in FUNi's site, which is odd.

Please stop taking me for a fool, I know a region block on CR when I see one:

Notice that I am linking to the older Shugo Chara episodes here - in this case, 45 - , not the new ones I cannot see without a membership. Each and every one of them is unavailable to me.

Download hotspotshield

Install, turn on to have your ip anonymous. I do that for the sites that block regions.

You can always download from bots on IRC or go to private servers to download your favorite anime. I don't like streaming what-so-ever.

My apologies. It didn't have a region block when I used to watch it, so I assumed it was still the same now.

Before the show was licensed (and CR was a place to share fansubbed anime), I didn't have a problem either. It's because of the license that I can't view it anymore (even though streaming isn't my preferred way of watching anime).

Either way, don't worry about it. I know where to get what I want, so it's not like I actually need this add-on for that.

Doesn't crunchyroll stream in high definition? And their server is fast?
What is there to complain about?

I understand when people are saying youtube sucks, but some sites... like the quicksilverscreen before it was shut down showed movies in high quality.

Yep, CR isn't bad for instant fast streaming and does it well.  Much better than YT.  Especially when rips like by Horriblesubs is the same quality...it is a rip afterall.  It's great to sample many different anime instantly.  Like I don't have the time to search and download everything out there (most here just download and talk about the popular stuff anyways).  So seen a lot that I wouldn't have checked out otherwise, and others that isn't worth downloading but didn't feel it was a waste of time sampling the streams.

Also been checking out the Korean dramas.  Good change of pace when a lot of boring anime is being released.

Oh, I think the 480p/720p streams are for subscribers only?  Though the H264 stream isn't bad at all.  Unsure since I went back to checking out CR after trying their 2 week free trial.  The 720p is often just an upscale, but many here seem to like upscales.
