« on: May 05, 2009, 03:29:08 AM »
Soooo
I just finished this series up. . .

My comments on this:

the beginning was slow. . . mid was good. . .I really liked it. . .but the ending. . .was good but I hoped for something more. . .

yes yes. . .
I'd still recommend it to whoever is looking for some "powersuit" type of thingy. . .
tho the xam doesnt really appear much in the series.
good overall!
8/10

Personally I felt Xam'd tried to spread a thin story over far to many episodes. Visually stunning as it may be, I deleted it shortly after finishing. :D

I enjoyed the series.  It is a good waste of time.  Oddly enough it is on the PS3 demo's in Best Buys, which i was sort of amazed at.

(click to show/hide)

As for everything else

Art was great
Acting was pretty good
Sound Track was great (esp. the opening)

Overall i'd give it a 7/10 but i'll probably never watch it again, but I might pick up the soundtrack.

I think that is what we call a plot hole.

Here is what I had pasted on the Zam'd torrent not too long ago:

Quote
Hmmm this anime wasn't up to my expectations despite being highly rated, I felt that many parts of the show had little explanations and many things just didn't flow properly, I often found myself focusing on various little things throughout each episode that made me think this is out of place. It just felt like a lot of nonsense put together.
(click to show/hide)

One of the things I noticed about the quality was that for some reason that the audio seemed quite low compared to many series that I have, I'm wondering why is that :/

most of your questions are answered completely throughout the series.

But that doesnt mean there werent plot holes and weird things like i mentioned above

When I watched the series, I felt like the whole series was like "We really wanted to make more Eureka 7, but we made this instead."

The art, flying ships, etc, seemed played off that. Wasn't it same producing group for this anime and Eureka 7? The art quality was good, story was ok, but a little long. Did seem like an E7 rip off though.

Hmmm... That's odd, i really didn't get that feeling at all.  I can see where some of the ideas mildly overlap.  But considering the series as a whole, I don't feel like it relates to Eureka 7 at all. (and I find that to be a good thing)
