I'm looking for a good place to get anime pics, I used to know this site that had really good High Resolution scans and stuff but don't remember the name. So if anyone knows a good place to download hi res anime pics It would be so awesome.

It's a bit of a hassle to register there, but it's worth it. Really a lot of amazing japanese(and not only) artists there.

I would also recommend that! Really sweet art work there of many many kinds. I used couple for ava/banner works. I haven't been there in a month because .... I don't restart my computer as much. Vista is just that awesome. <3

You've probably already found that out, but it should be noted that most of the above links contain a large amount of adult content

It can be filtered out, though, when looking for clean scans...

http://www.animepaper.net/ also has a huuuge repository of really high-res scans for countless different animes available to download. The only "downside" (and honestly, it's not that bad) is that you have to post in the forums a little in order to be able to download scans.

Depending on what your using them for....www.Deviantart.com Though I wouldn't suggest it if you plan on getting famous for using the art or plan on selling anything. Of course, it is all fan art so you will get some great pics and some HORRID pics, but still a decent resource especially for those obscure anime characters.

Back in the day, deviantart was a pretty cool place. Now... not so much. The percentage of shit posted there now is ridiculously high, and discovering artists who are good but not already popular is nigh impossible.

I like Deviantart but they are too strict in what they consider hentai. I've seen some perfectly fine barely ecchi pics get taken down.

This is by far the best High Res search engine I've ever used. It searches all the chan sites for high res anime wallpapers. Due to bandwidth issues, you can only download one image every 20 seconds after the first 10 though!

Oh....Yeah...probab ly should of mentioned that, for those not familiar with Chan sites...uh...hopefu lly the therapy doesn't take that long to erase the scars from your mind.
