But DVDs will be done more hastily, it's just a matter of re-timing it.
But I dunno whether or not all DVD raws are available, 'cause somebody would have done it for Chihiro version already. Even Kristen, if I'm not mistaken, said she doesn't have the uncorrupted ISO images of all DVD releases...
I will say if you goto asiandvdclub.org and join up, its free, both seasons are there ready to be downloaded and they are the retail DVDs with subs added to them,
I have them on my drive and they are very good, I also sub DVDs, i am doing Toradora, Itazura na Kiss, Asu no Yoichi, Hyakko
and a few others,
I have a blog site if you want to see the pics of some screen shots of some of the DVDs I have subbed, I do not thing I do a bad job, I take my time to do it, and they are about as professional you can get before you have to just go buy it, Oh wait you can't buy it subbed. just click on the link under my avatar
and some times it is more than just re timing the fan subs, most groups hard sub the signs and opening and ending songs, so that has to be re-timed and added to the script, plus most fansubs have to be gone over and lines have to be broken up into more than one and re timed to fit and flow better with the dvd,
sure I could take a groups subs and just do a quick job on adding subs to the dvd, since you cant do anything fancy with normal subs anyway without reencoding the DVD, but then it would not be as good as retail, most sub groups just rush through the subbing of a show, so I use multiple sub group subs as a base to create a good script depending on the group, I just finished skip beat vol.4 and I can say that group messed up very badly on the translations, I had to go back and watch the official subs on crunchyroll just to fix it to where it made sense.
