What really got you into anime?
Lord of Fire:
A friend of mine introduced me to Ojamajo Doremi. I watched the first season at least 3 times before I started looking for other shows. To my own surprise, I found a lot of good stuff out there and from there, I started being reasonably good at telling what show I would like and which one not.
dbml:
I watched Akira back when it was on the sci-fi channel and loved it. Then I discovered toonami... and have been watching anime ever since.
mgz:
i had seen DBZ and reboot and shit they used to be THE SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS on like upn or something.
And i got into anime because when they went into reseting they were looping it like just after the fight with vegeta and goku. So i went on the dial up intrawebs and searched out more dbz and stumbled upon other shit eventually
Killbasas:
First I saw at my friends house Urusei Yatsura and then Transformers, but didn't get hooked on anime till my father, dunno how, managed to get me VHS of Astroboy (our country was still ocupied by USSR), since then my venture to the world of anime began
UMMX:
DB, Roinin Warriars, Voltren, I watch them all back in 1984-1987 and later on I got in DBZ and Starship troopers. But What really got me into anime was Japanimation. They showed it on WFYI before going to Sci-fi channel in 1998 That was the first place I saw Fist of the North Star and Zillion Man.
