Hmm, not sure if it's an issue with low or high standards really. Everyone likes different styles and types in there anime. For me, even though I found out they weren't blood related it still wasn't my type of show I wanted to watch personally.
I did think the drawing the was nice though if that counts as a compliment?

I was actually surprised I have a friend she wasnt into anime but then I showed her School days. . .which changed her view of anime just being "cartoons for children" she then asked me for more so I threw HOTD and she was like DUDE I WANT MORE SEXY STUFF!
so she likes the fan service for some reason :P I directed her to Kiss x Sis. . .lets see how that goes

I would probably recommend Clannad or Angel Beats!. Or K-ON for that matter. KyoAni rocks!

Lol. Btw you ever watched ecchi with a girlfriend? I try to keep anime females and real life females separate. Never tired this though so maybe someone could clarify what would happen when you combine the two?
Maybe some would be safe but in my experience ALL women get jealous and possessive at times (crazy also, its true! none are completely sane once you get to know them enough)

I actually did watch a lot of echii shows with my girlfriend :)

I wouldn't mind even if School Days was my first anime. ;D I would be PROUD of it. 8)
